An impact recorder comprising a recording medium and means for mounting the medium onto a solid support wherein on impact with another object an impact area is defined by a change in the light reflection properties of the recording medium. The recording medium may, for example, comprise two sheets sealed to form a pocket with a viscous substance within the pocket. The impact recorder is particularly useful for determining the impact point and impact angle of a golf ball on a golf club head face. |
