PURPOSE:To change the form of an elastic movable section and thereby allow liquid from a nozzle to inhibit the corrosion of an electrode by providing a liquid chamber with a nozzle formed at the end for liquid discharge and be elastic movable section incorporated inside, applying an electric current to a wiring pattern in the elastic movable section and allowing the generation of a magnetic flux in a direction which crosses directly the direction of an electric current applied to the wiring pattern arranged outside a liquid chamber. CONSTITUTION:If a pulsed current for deformation is applied to an electroconductive pattern 14 formed on a bridge 13 from a power supply 17 in order to eject ink 15 from a nozzle 11 at the tip of an ink chamber 10, a force F works in an arrow direction in the bridge 13 according to the Fleming's left-hand rule. This is because the magnetic flux passes through the electroconductive pattern 14. If the bridge 13 warps in an arrow direction under the effects of the force F, the ink 15 drips from the tip of the nozzle 11. The bridge 13 is returned to its original state by switching off a power supply 17 to shut off the current. |
