摘要

A magnetron where in resonant cavities are defined by the inter-vane spaces between the vanes of an annular outer electrode has a plurality of panel shaped vanes extending radially inwardly there from towards but not into contact with a central electrode and conductive ring means electrically connecting alternate ones of the vanes, and where in the radial position of conductive ring means with respect to the vanes as determined by the distance ratio I/L defined hereinabove is selected so that at least one harmonic frequency generated by the magnetron is preferentially suppressed.
