A curable product is injected into a pocket consisting of a leaktight film 1 and a comfort textile 2 between which a reinforcement fabric 3 is inserted. On this pocket 1, 2, 3, the imprint of the user's foot 10 is taken in its essentially technical parts 8, 9 in order to constitute the inner sole (insole) of a boot 6 with a rigid shell. The technical parts are located at the support for the heel 8 and for the metatarsus 9. The sole thus obtained may be attached in a bootee 5 inside the boot 6 or, optionally, may constitute the actual sole of this bootee 5. The invention applies essentially to boots with a rigid shell in which the foot controls the behaviour of an external member, for example a ski. <IMAGE>
