PURPOSE:To increase the degree of freedom in the up/down positions of the linking point of a link member by placing the two link members of an arm for linking a wheel supporting member to a vehicle body in such a way that these are separate from each other in a plan view and that the shaft extension of one member intersects to the other. CONSTITUTION:Both upper and lower ends of a wheel supporting member 1 for rotatably supporting the front wheel 2, etc. of an automobile are vertically swingably linked to a vehicle body by means of upper and lower arms 3, 4. The upper arm 3 is formed with mutually independent two link members 3a, 3b. In this case, the first link member 3a is extended in the lateral direction of the vehicle body. The second link member 3b is extended in the longitudinal direction of the body in front of the first link member 3a in such a way that it does not overlap the first link member 3a as seen from above in a plan view and that the shaft extension L2 to the rear thereof intersects to the first link member 3a. |
