PURPOSE:To accurately detect an obstruction on a real time basis by operating the direction of the obstruction with respect to a moving body and a distance between the moving body and the obstruction based on respective outputs of a projective direction detection means and a light-receiving position detection means. CONSTITUTION:Laser light beams are projected to respective directions through a mirror 11, and PSD23 light-receives the laser light beams reflected on the obstruction 2. Position information of the obstruction 2 is obtained by an operation processing based on the rotary angle of the obstruction 2 and the light- receiving position detected in PSD23. Thus, the obstruction 2 can accurately be detected with simple constitution and on a real time basis compared to a case when the visual means of a TV camera and the like are used, when a large number of sensors are provided around the moving body 1, and when an acoustic wave is used. |
