PURPOSE: To provide the periodical zone plate signals having the frequency marks to the luminance channels of an HDTV-equipment by producing a test signal against the circuit which processes the HDTV(high definition television) signals and then taking a luminance or chrominance test signal out of the output side of a D-register. CONSTITUTION: The phase value are taken out at the output sides of the 1st and 2nd circuit parts 3 and 3' and linearly superimposed on an addition stage consisting of circuits parts 5 and 5' to supply a signal of a component (ϕT) depending on the time. Then the 8-bit amplitude value signals are outputted again via the output sides of the partial fixed value memories 7 and 7' or 8 and 8'. The partial D-registers 9, 9', 10 and 10' undergo the clock control against the luminance signals Y and chrominance signals C. The D-registers 20 and 20' multiplex the luminance or chrominance signals. Thus, an HDTV-luminance test signals and an HDTV-chrominance test signal are taken out at the output sides 25 and 26 respectively.
