An appts. is claimed to wash clothes in a washing tank with a movable tubular side wall rotatable in 2 directions located below a fixed side wall put in the washing tank. The novelty is that frictional projections are formed on the inner middle area of the movable slide wall. Each projection extends to a balancer formed on the top end of the fixed wall and directly obliquely down. Another projection is formed on the bottom of the movable side wall shaped like a cage and extends vertically upward until reaching the top end of the movable wall. The projection has a circular cross-sectional shape to increase the friction with clothes.
