The invention relates to a protective shield, in particular for male transurethral operations, having a film (1) which is preferably made of synthetic material and which has a first recess in which a condom-like tube (7) preferably consisting of latex or similar material is arranged, the film (1) having a second recess in which a further condom-like tube (2) is arranged, which has at its tip an opening (5) for the introduction of instruments.
