PURPOSE:To obtain a herbicidal composition having synergistically increased spectrum and extremely shortened evolution of herbicidal effects by using both a tetrahydroisoindoledione derivative and an N-(phosphonomethyl)glycine. CONSTITUTION:(A) 2-[7-Fluoro-3,4-dihydro-3-oxo-4-(2-propenyl)-2H-1,4- benzoxazin-6-yl]-4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-18-indole-1,3(2H)-dione shown by formula I is blended with (B) N-(phosphonomethyl)glycine shown by formula II or a salt (glyphosate) as active ingredients in the ratio of 1 pt.wt. component A and usually 0.5-100 pts.wt., preferably 1-70 pts.wt. component B to give a herbicidal compound which is capable of controlling weeds occurring in agricultural land nonagricultural land with a smaller amount of agent compared with separative use of each component and has rapid and excellent evolution of herbicidal effects. |
