<p>PURPOSE:To obtain not only a scanning apparatus having a simplified structure but also a small-sized inexpensive liquid crystal shutter array apparatus by superposing two substrates one over another to seal a liquid crystal therebetween and connecting a power supply thereto. CONSTITUTION:A seal member 18 is formed to the peripheral ends of the oriented films 13, 15 which are respectively formed to a light pervious substrate 10 having transparent electrodes 11 arranged thereto and a light pervious substrate 14 having transparent electrodes 15 to superpose both substrates one over another and a liquid crystal 17 is sealed in the gap between the substrates to constitute a liquid crystal shutter array apparatus. The transparent electrodes 15 are connected to the negative pole of a variable voltage source 22 and the terminal electrode parts 31, 32 on the first substrate are respectively connected to a two-way switch 24 and a change-over contact is connected to a fixed power supply 23.</p> |
