PURPOSE:To obtain the title material having exceedingly excellent lubricity by forming the double oxide of W, Mo or Nb and alkali metals, Cu, etc. CONSTITUTION:At least one kind among W, Mo and Nb is regulated to a matrix; to which 0.5 to 30% of one or more kinds among alkali metals and Cu are added and, if required, 0.5 to 30% of one or more kinds among S, Se and Te are added, and the material is molded. Then, these are oxidized to form double oxide. By this method, the material for a sliding surface having excellent lubricity, particularly showing excellent lubricity for lubricating oil of ferrosilicon can be obtd. |
