<p>PURPOSE:To simplify operation while ensuring resolution to a high degree by adjusting the position of a lens while monitoring an LED element image to be projected to a sensitizing drum through the lens. CONSTITUTION:An LED printing head 1 for a test, the position of a lens of which is optically adjusted accurately, is held to a pair of left and right head holders 25 fixed onto a fixed rail 26, an LED element 4 is emitted, and the image of the LED element is projected onto a monitor device under the state in which it is in focus. The LED printing head for the test is exchanged with an LED printing head 1 to be adjusted, a TV camera 28 is moved to a position corresponding to the longitudinal one end of the lens 9, and an adjusting screw 22 is rotated so that the image of the LED element 4 projected to the monitor device is in focus and the position of one end of the lens 9 is regulated. The TV camera 28 is shifted to positions corresponding to the longitudinal other end and center of the lens 9, and the position of the other end and center of the lens 9 are regulated similarly.</p> |
