A container for preserving liquids has a tube (11) which is open at one end and is sealed fluid-tightly at the front end by a closure (12) which can be removed for introducing and/or removing liquid and/or can be opened. A closure cap (14) provided at its open side with a tear- off snap-on ring (13) can be placed on the front end of the tube (11), covering the closure (12) towards the outside, in such a way that the snap-on ring (13) snaps over a snap-engagement means (15) which is provided on the outer wall of the tube (11) in the front region of the latter and from which the ring cannot easily be removed by pulling it axially forwards. ……
