PURPOSE:To automatize change of casting width by arranging a casting width setting means for transferring a position command to a first and second positioning means, arranging boundary information generating means for each block group and controlling the cast length of the specified width. CONSTITUTION:The casting width setting means 181, 183, 185, 187, 22 for selectively driving the first and second positioning means 7i1, 7i2 and 7o1, 7o2 changing the casting width during casting to the specified width, are arranged respectively. The boundary information generating means 11 for showing the boundary position between a first block group and a second block group in a shifting short side, is arranged and width changeable information generating means 26 for generating a first and second changeable information showing possibility of position change in each block group, is set. By these means, the casting length of the specified width at every castings having a short length is obtd., and by adjusting this length, the casting width changing means 26 is automatically controlled. Therefore, the change of the casting width is automatized. |
