PURPOSE:To prevent forgery by detecting that originals such as bank notes and securities, whose copying is prohibited are to be copied, when someone tries to do that and controlling copying output. CONSTITUTION:When copying operation is indicated by an operator with a keyboard 1, an image reading means 6 is driven by a CPU 1 and an original image is read. The same operation is repeated four times by switching color filters and read images are developed every color in an image memory 7 on a color basis. Then a bank note detecting means 9 is operated and whether or not image data in the image memory 7 shows bank notes or securities is inspected. If the original to be copied is bank notes or securities, it is detected and the copying output is controlled. Hereby forgery can be prevented effectively by controlling the copying operation so that multicolored recording is not performed, and the copy is not outputted. |
