摘要

A process for the production of an organic compound by carbon-carbon bond formation between two smaller molecules characterised in that it comprises using a pyridoxal phosphate-linked enzyme having beta -cyano-L-alanine synthase and/or cysteine synthase activity to catalyse the reaction without requiring ATP is disclosed.
