PURPOSE:To cut off a fault point and to detect the position of the fault point in a quick and assured way, by providing switches at the input and output points of both the transmitting and receiving circuits at an interface part of a device to be controlled which is connected by a series connecting system. CONSTITUTION:The transmitting receiving circuits 4-11, 5-11-4-N1, 5-N1 performing normal operations and stand-by transmitting receiving circuits 4-12, 5-12-4-N2, 5-N2 are provided to devices 2-1-2-N to be controlled. At the same time, transmitting switches 6-11, 6-12-6-N1, 6-N2 and receiving circuit switches 7-11, 7-12-7-N1, 7-N1, 7-N2 are set at the input and output points of the above- mentioned reansmitting/receiving circuits. Then a faulty transmitting/receiving circuit is cut off by a switch or replaced with a nondefective circuit in order to ensure a normal operation. |
