PURPOSE:To uniformize electric fields and to facilitate production by laminating layers respectively formed with horizontal scanning electrodes and vertical scanning electrodes on the surface of PLZT (PbO, La2O3, ZrO3, TiO2) for which codeposited powder is used as forming the respective electrodes as the internal electrodes approximately parallel with an optical axis. CONSTITUTION:The layers printed with the vertical scanning electrodes 12 and the horizontal scanning electrodes 13 are alternately laminated on the green sheet formed on a slurry slurry prepd. by using the powder obtd. by the codeposition method of the PLZT and mixing the same with a binder and org. solvent; thereafter, the layers are calcined to form the laminated PLZT. This laminate is cut to a specified thickness in the direction orthogonal with the green sheet and both faces are polished to form the PLZT plate. The solid-state display device 10 is embedded at a prescribed interval with the vertical scanning internal electrode groups 12... and the horizontal scanning internal electrode groups 13... parallel with the optical axis in the transparent PLZT ceramics plate. These electrodes are respectively coupled to terminals 15 and terminals 16. The light transmittance is thereby improved and since the electric field distribution is uniformized, the crosstalks and the degradation in contrast are hardly obviated and the uniform production is enabled. |
