PURPOSE:To obtain a polyurethane resin having a wide service temperature range and improved processability and workability, by reacting a bitumen with a specified organic polyisocyanate in the presence of a trimerization catalyst. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. organic polyisocyanate of an NCO content <=20% (e.g., 2,6-tolylene diisocyanate) is reacted with 20-200pts.wt. bitumen (e.g., straight asphalt) and a polyol having a hydroxyl value <=200 and containing polybutadiene polyol of an NCO content <=15% in the presence of 0.01-10pts.wt. trimerization catalyst (e.g., sodium acetate) and, optionally, auxiliaries such as a foam stabilizer, a blowing agent and a filler. |
