Development of the operating method of internal combustion engines which are designed as naturally aspirated piston engines (reciprocating or rotary piston)

The patent application with its own reference lei N 88/8 is, in accordance with its designation, a development of the operating method of naturally aspirated piston engines and relates to 7 priorities (based on an earlier application filed at the German Patent Office). It extends, to multi-cylinder engines, the method depicted by the applicant in DE-OS 3700182 of an abrupt emission from the exhaust. In all engine combustion chambers this method uses means of gas exchange within the inserted fuel/air mixture to increase the air-loading degree to a level which hitherto has not been possible. The consequence is a new possibility for low-emission engine operation and a substantial increase in engine performance whilst, at the same time, reducing the size of the fuel metering elements.
