PURPOSE:To allow automatic heating to perform image recording processing by providing a first recording head which develops a color in each coloring layer, a second recording head which causes a transparent heatsensitive coloring layer on the other side to develop a color and an optical fixing means which fixes the transparent heatsensitive coloring layer which develops a color by heating of the first recording head. CONSTITUTION:An M layer 16 and a Y layer 18 are coated on the upper surface of a support 14 for a heatsensitive recording material 12, and a C layer 20 is coated on the lower surface. A thermal head 30 of the first recording head is arranged above a guide roller 21, and the heatsensitive recording material 12 moves through the gap between the thermal head 30 and the guide roller 21. The thermal head 30 heats the M layer 16 or the Y layer 18 to develop a color. Near the thermal head 30, a light projector 34 of an optical fixing means is arranged to fix the Y layer 18 which has developed a color. A thermal head 38 of the second recording head is arranged below a guide roller 23, and the thermal head 38 heats the C layer 20 to develop a color. In this case, the transparent heatsensitive coloring layer which has developed a color by initial heating is already fixed by the optical fixing means does not develop a color again. |
