PURPOSE:To facilitate manufacture and adjustment and avoid the degradation in a signal intensity by a method wherein a rubidium gas cell is fixed to a cavity with a bobbin type elastic spacer and protruding rods piercing through the wall of the cavity are provided so as to move freely. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical cavity 3 is provided and a rubidium gas cell 1 housed in the cavity 3 is fixed to the cavity 3 with a spacer 2 made of elastic material. Light entering through the light entrance hole 4 of the cavity 3 is transmitted through the rubidium gas cell 1 only and reaches a solar cell 6 and a satisfactory signal intensity can be obtained. Moreover, if the outer diameter of the rubidium gas cell 1 is designed to be small, the spacer 2 is formed into the shape of a bobbin and protruding rods 5 for tuning are attached to the circumference of the cavity 3, the adjustment of the resonance frequency of the cavity can be performed easily. |
