PURPOSE:To accurately align and store paper by making the reciprocative action of a guide member for width alignment of the paper so that every time this action hour is passed for a specified time, the guide member is returned to the reference position, correcting the position and again returned to the former paper aligning position. CONSTITUTION:Whenever a multiple number of image formed paper is carried one by one to be loaded and stored for carrying out both-surface copying or multiple copying, a pair of guide members 186 and 187 are each moved back and forth by separate driving sources 188 and 189, aligning the paper. Then they are adjusted to the central position between a pair of guide members 186 and 187, in the direction which crosses orthogonally with the carrying direction of the paper, based on data inputted by an adjustment data inputting means. Thus the paper to be stored in a middle tray 180 can be appropriately aligned, and the image formation can be accurately carried out without misalignment on the opposite surface or the same surface. |
