PURPOSE:To enhance sensitivity and durability and to reduce residual potential by using a specified bisazo pigment for a carrier generating material and a specified aromatic amino compound for a carrier transfer material. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic sensitive body is formed by laminating on a substrate 1 a photosensitive layer 4 composed of a carrier generating layer 2 containing as the carrier generating material the bisazo pigment represented by formula I, and the carrier transfer layer 3 containing as the carrier transfer material the aromatic amino compound represented by formula III, and in formulae I and III, each of X1 and X2 is halogen, alkyl, or the like; each of (p) and (q) is 0, 1, or 2; A is a group of formula II; Ar is an aromatic carbon or hetero ring having a fluorinated hydrocarbon group; Z is an atomic group necessary to form a desired ring; each of (m) and (n) is 0, 1, or 2; each of R<1>-R<4> is H, alkyl, or the like; each of R<5> and R<6> is H, 1-40C alkyl, or the like; and each of R<7>-R<10> is H, halogen, or the like. |
