An intensifying type high pressure vessel includes an outer cylinder having upper and lower lids and an inner cylinder located in the outer cylinder with a clearance between them. The bottom of the inner cylinder is provided with a piston and a liquid. Medium for intensifying pressure is injected between the lower lid of the outer cylinder and the piston. The pressure vessel, which is small-sized and easy to manipulate, increases strength and reliability.
