<p>PURPOSE:To enable a flexible tube to be continuously covered by inserting a connector into the openings of adjacent flexible tubes so as to accomplish both the closure of the openings and the connection of flexible tubes, and by covering the top of in-series-connected parts with a corrosion resistant antiflaw material. CONSTITUTION:A connector 4 having cylindrical surfaces 9a on the surface of its core member 9 is inserted into the openings 2a of hollow holes 2 in adjacent flexible tubes 1 so as to close the openings 2a of the hollow holes 2. At the same time, adjacent flexible tubes 1 are connected in series to each other. A plurality of flexible tubes 1 having been connected in series in the longitudinal direction in this way are fed to an extruding part 5, and a corrosion resistant antiflaw material S in a molten state is extruded to cover the outer surface of the flexible tube 1. As a result, without being influenced by the length of the flexible tube, a covered flexible tube can be continuously and easily manufactured.</p> |
