PURPOSE:To prevent an overvoltage at the time of simultaneous load breakage by securing a high voltage at the time of load current rise, and thereafter suppressing the high voltage to a predetermined width. CONSTITUTION:An automatic voltage regulator 7 controls an exciter 6 so that the output voltage V of an AC generator 1 becomes equal to a rated voltage reference value V0. The output of the generator 1 is supplied to loads 5a-5c through breakers 3a-3c and DC power sources 4a-4c. On the other hand, a voltage controller 101 reduces the value V0 when the output current I of the generator 1 increases above a predetermined value. Accordingly, even if a simultaneous load breakage occur so that the voltage abruptly rises, the value of the overvoltage becomes small. |
