PURPOSE:To stabilize developing characteristics by inserting a resistor component in a parallel state into a capacitor corresponding to an elastic layer of a capacitor type saturated model and setting up the value of the resistor component. CONSTITUTION:In a developing model of an one-component developing device constituted of laminating a dielectric layer 1B on the upper surface of a supporting layer 1A constituted of an elastic body, the resistor component is made parallel with a capacitor component on the supporting layer 1A on the basis of the capacitor type saturated developing model and the resistance of the supporting layer 1A is set up to a value smaller than a value determined by bias potential or toner charge. Consequently, elasticity can be applied to a developing roll and the gradation of an image, especially a slat black image, can be stabilized. |
