PURPOSE:To obtain a measured result with high accuracy and reliability by performing the interface measurement in such a way that a detector is caused to automatically follow the interface of the fluidic bodies and always spot at a fixed position. CONSTITUTION:The upper detector 20a and lower detector 20b of an interface detector 20 respectively detect the fluidic body 5 above an interface 7 and fluidic body 6 below the interface 7. When the detectors 20a and 20b respectively detect fluidic bodies which are different from those allotted to them, a controller 22 instructs a driving mechanism 9 to wind up or release a cable 21 so as to position the interface detector 20 at the interface 7. A cable length measuring instrument 23 measures the position of the interface 7 by measuring the length of the cable 21 and causes an indicator 11 to indicate the measured result. |
