PURPOSE:To prepare a molded item contg. an insert while a molding material is prevented from flowing out of a mold, by introducing a specified polyester resin compsn. for molding to the periphery of an insert in the mold. CONSTITUTION:An unsatd. polyester resin compsn. for molding contains an unsatd. polyester resin contg. an unsatd. polyester having a degree of unsaturation of 1.5-5.0 and an acid value of 18-40 obtd. by reacting an acid component contg. terephthalic acid and/or isophthalic acid and one or more unsatd. acids from maleic anhydride, maleic acid and fumalic acid and a polyhydric alcohol component and a crosslinking agent, an amorphous satd. polyester resin, calcium carbonate having an average particle diameter of 0.5-10mum and one or more fibers selected from glass fibers and polyamide fibers. The resin compsn. is introduced to the periphery of an insert having a gap of 0.1mum-1mm in a mold and then cured. |
