PURPOSE:To check any wearing phenomenon by installing a ring recess in the lower part of a retainer, in a scroll type compressor to be used for a refrigerating cycle or the like. CONSTITUTION:A base 3a of a block 3 and a ring recess 21 formed by a weir 22 with no rift in the circumferential direction are installed in the lower part of a retainer 16. With this constitution, each sliding part of balls 15a-15m is always filled up with lubricating oil, while this lubricating oil is made to flow in and out freely, so that an oiling quantity to the sliding part of these balls 15a-15m becomes increased, helping the production of an oil film, and sliding heat is absorbed for cooling it. Consequently, any wearing phenomenon is thus checkable. |
