PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of the device and to realize miniturization and a reduction of cost by using a detection device provided near a carrying means for carrying the transfer papers, for >=two purposes among image position detection, image density detection, and paper jamming detection. CONSTITUTION:The detection means provided near the carrying means of the transfer material is constituted so that it serves >=two purposes, at least, among image position detection, image density detection, and jamming detection. For example, a registor mark constituting color marks 34 and 35 is constituted from two types of fonts, L-shaped and square-shaped, and among these the L-shaped font is for image position detection and the square-shaped font is for image density detection. First, a CCD sensor 14 reads image density (bright ness) information shown within an area 40. Thus, the constitution of the device can be simplified, and the device can be miniaturized, and the reduction of the cost can be realized. |
