<p>The invention relates to ophthalmology. The device comprises a pulse excimer laser (1) and a shaper (3) for distributing its radiation energy density over the cross-section of the laser beam (2). The shaper (3) consists of an optical cuvette (7), the windows (8) and (9) of which are transparent to the laser radiation, the internal surface of at least one of which has the form of a surface of revolution of the second order, the rotation axis of which coincides with the axis (21) of symmetry of the beam (2). The cuvette (7) is filled with a medium (10) partially absorbing the laser radiation. At the output of the shaper (3) the beam (31) has an approximately parabolic distribution of the energy over the cross-section with the maximum in the center or on the periphery.</p> |
