<p>PURPOSE:To detect in an early stage the abnormality of an environmental temperature caused by a fault of an air-conditioning equipment, etc. by deriving a temperature gradient by an environmental temperature of a computer system which has been detected by a temperature detecting means and discriminating whether the environmental temperature goes to an allowable temperature range or not, based on this temperature gradient. CONSTITUTION:When an environmental temperature of a computer system which is detected by a temperature detecting means (a) has not tendency to go into an allowable temperature range due to abnormality of an air- conditioning equipment, etc., abnormality of the environmental temperature can be detected in an early stage by an alarm by an alarm means (e). On the other hand, when the environmental temperature has a tendency to go into the allowable temperature range, an arrival time that the environmental temperature arrives in the allowable temperature range can be predicted, and the capacity shortage of the air-conditioning equipment, etc. can be detected in an early stage. In such a way, abnormality of the environmental temperature is detected in an early stage, and also, the time when said temperature arrives in the allowable temperature range can be predicted.</p> |
