PURPOSE:To simplify a manufacturing process and to effectively manufacture the captioned footwear of stable quantity, within a small manufacturing variation, for a short time by forming a bag-like body with a partial cut-out carapace and an intermediate bottom, and inserting the bag-like body around a punch in which a part abutted on a molded has a different hardness from that of the mold. CONSTITUTION:A footwear with a partially cut-out carapace is manufactured as follows. A bag-like body is formed with a partial cut-out carapace 3 and an intermediate bottom 4. The bag-like body is inserted around a punch 1 in which a part abutted on the mold 2 has a different hardness from that of the mold 2. The punch 1 is placed in a single bottom mold 2a or a mold 2 composed of a bottom mold 2a and a side mold 2b. Then, the mold 2 is abutted on the surface of the punch 1 or of a projected outer periphery part 9 of a folded intermediate bottom so as to from a gap 7 for forming a bottom part and charge a bottom part forming material in the gap 7 so that the bottom part and intermediate part are integratedly formed. |
