<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a color filter having excellent heat resistance and color purity at a low cost with a simple stage by using a dye developer which is changed from diffusivity to non-diffusivity by development processing of a silver halide to form at least one color and forming the other colors by an external color developing method. CONSTITUTION:Parts 22, 23 on a photographic material provided with a silver halide emulsion layer 12 contg. the cyan color developer which is changed from diffusivity to non-diffusivity by being subjected to the oxidation expressed by the formula on the base are selectively exposed. The material is then subjected to alkali development and thereafter, the photographic material is bleached to rehalogenate the developing silver, following which the parts 21, 22 are exposed in pattern and are subjected to the external color development of yellow. Then, the exposed part 22 forms a green color. The photographic material is rehalogenated and the exposed parts 21, 23 are exposed; thereafter, the material is subjected to the external color development contg. a magenta coupler so that the exposed part 23 forms a blue color and the exposed part 21 a red color. The developing silver and the residual silver halide are finally removed, by which the color filter formed with the light transmittable chromatic parts of the red, green and blue on the base is obtd.</p> |
