PURPOSE:To improve the quality of a recording image not required for a contact member by allowing the contact member to come into contact with the surface layer of a fluid ink to be transferred and at the same time, applying vibration to the contact member by means of a vibration generation means. CONSTITUTION:Stainless steel is employed for a contact member 14a, and the contact member is formed in such a way that an edge 14c which comes into contact with an ink layer 1 becomes sharp. The edge 14c comes into contact with the ink layer 1 under pressure and then is installed on the main unit of a recording device so that it can vibrate in a pressure-contact state. The contact state of the edge 14c is dependent upon ink material, ink layer thickness, ink transfer speed, etc. An electric bias vibrator is employed on a vibration device 14b, and for instance, a bolted approx imately 10W Langevin type electric bias vibrator is installed on one plane of the contact member 14a in such a manner that said vibrator does not come into contact with the edge 14c. |
