METHOD FOR WELDING USING LASER BEAM

PURPOSE:To stabilize a joining strength at high level and to improve the reliability of a part by removing the oxide film formed on a joining face and in succession executing laser beam welding after forming a black film on the material surface. CONSTITUTION:The oxide film formed on the joining face of 1st and 2nd members 11, 12 is removed by dry honing or shot peening. In succession, the film of Fe3O4 is formed on the material surface by dipping and boiling the member in NaOH. A laser beam welding is thus executed after making the laser beam easy to absorb. A product of high joining strength is obtd. by this method.
