DISPLACEMENT ADJUSTING MECHANISM

PURPOSE:To provide a feed gear which moves the table of a machine tool or the like and has both a function of rough feed and a function of fine feed which is performed by utilizing the engagement of a column with a cone. CONSTITUTION:A displacement adjusting mechanism 19 is provided on a table which slides on a guide shaft 2. The displacement adjusting mechanism 19 comprises a shaft 23 for fine adjustment, a conical surface 23a, a spring member 25 and a knob 27. To finely adjust the position of the table, the knob 27 is rotated because the conical surface 23a pushed by the spring member 25 is in contact with the columnar surface of the guide shaft 2. For the fine adjustment, the knob 27 is pulled toward the operator to put the conical surface 23a and the columnar surface out of contact with each other.
