<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the malfunction due to tape traveling speed fluctuation by making n-values of data corresponding to a frequency tone prepared with n-number of levels and using the reverse frequency tone to the data as partition parts of the data. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic tape is recorded with the n-values [(n) is integer as >=2] of data, and when the data recorded on this magnetic tape is reproduced, each of n-values of data is made to correspond to a tone of a 1st frequency fH allotted to the n-number of levels, while a tone of a 2nd frequency fL is inserted as a partition part into between those data, thus performing the recording of the data, whereas the presence of the data is detected by a frequency discriminator, and when the data are present, the reproducing is carried out by discriminating the n-values of data according to a level difference between the tones. By this method, even when the tape traveling speed deviation is large, the reproducing can be performed without malfunction.</p> |
