PURPOSE: To prevent the step-off part of a cover member born flapping due to running wind and make the running wind flow smoothly by forming a step-off part at the cover member mounting bracket of a fuel tank and a fuel tank front side surface respectively so as to be combined, flush with the rear edge part of the cover member. CONSTITUTION: The rear parts of cover members 32a, 32b are bent toward a vehicle body center, and a step-off part 20b is formed at the cover member mounting bracket 38 of a fuel tank 20 and a fuel tank 20 front side surface so that their rear edges may be combined to be flush continuously smoothly with the front side surface of the fuel tank 20. As a result, it is possible to prevent the step-off parts of the cover members 32a, 32b from flapping due to the wind pressure of running wind, and make the running wind smoothly flow at the cover members 32a, 32b and the side surface of the fuel tank 20 with the rear edge of the cover members 32a, 32b combined, flush continuously smoothly with the front side surface of the fuel tank 20. When a rider leans forward, the leg part of the rider can be prevented from coming into contact with a protruding part, thus it is possible to prevent generation of damage or the like. |
