STRUCTURE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

The present invention relates to a structure having a large area wherein at least two metal plates are welded and a manufacturing method thereof. The structure comprises: a first metal plate having a convex part protruding from at least one edge; and a second metal plate provided in one side of the first metal plate and having a convex part in one side to allow the convex part to be inserted and engaged. A welding line between the first and second metal plates is longer than a straight line on one side of the first metal plate facing the second metal plate. A different between the own physical characteristics of the metal plate before welding can be reduced by the physical characteristic of the welding line after the friction stir welding of the metal plates.
