A light control switch and a display apparatus comprising the same are provided to efficiently adjust light transmissivity through revolution of capsules according to voltages applied to an external electrode, by using the capsules with charged bodies at its both end portions. A light control switch includes a plurality of capsules(50). The capsules are located in a cell forming a pixel of a display apparatus. Each capsule is filled with a gas, and then is sealed. Charged bodies having different polarities are formed at both longitudinal ends of the capsule, respectively. Light transmissivity is adjusted in accordance with the voltage applied to the cell. When a DC(Direct Current) voltage is applied to the capsule, the capsule is aligned to transmit the light.
