<p>PURPOSE:To simply and surely prevent the blocking of diffuser by inverting the diffuser so that air chambers under the diffuser are faced upward, jetting air from the bottoms of the diffuser and forcing the jetted air into water. CONSTITUTION:When the ventilation resistance of a diffusing plate (diffuser) 2 measured with a pressure sensor 10 attains to a prescribed value, a motor 9 working in water is worked to invert air pipes 4 and all of diffusing plates 2 so that air chambers 3 under the plates 2 are faced upward. Compressed air is fed from the chambers 3 to the plates 2 and forced into water as bubbles from the surfaces of the plates 2 faced downward. The bubbles are allowed to flow along the surfaces of the plates 2 toward the peripheries to remove dirt sticking to the surfaces of the plates 2 and to clean the surfaces.</p> |
