Technical object: Provision of a wheel nut wrench which is safe and can be easily handled. Solution of the technical object: The transverse holes (6, 7) for receiving a tommy bar (13) are arranged outside the head pieces, approximately at a hand's width, i.e. about 100 mm from the head-piece ends (4, 5), in a transition region (11, 12) of increased diameter between the head pieces (2, 3) and the shank (10).
