Single or double-glazed window fitment - includes protective corner rubber spacer pieces of U=shaped cross=sectional configuration

The double glazed window unit is installed with rubber corner pieces (3) which act as protection during transport and also as spacer pieces. At the longitudinal sides of the pane rubber blocks of L-shaped cross-sectional configuration may be used. An intermediate space strip (4) of metal or plastics is inserted between the panes. After insertion in the frame rebates of top and bottom sill (5,6) a silicone cement is used for embedding whilst cover strips (7,8) complete the fitment.
