<p>PURPOSE:To accurately control a feeding roller by detecting the feed state of a medium to be fed such as a paper with a simply constituted device without depending on an independent sensor in a feeding roller controller. CONSTITUTION:A heating roller 30 is constituted by successively and cylindrically fitting a base part 32, an electrode layer 33 provided with each electrode part 33a, an elastic layer 34 provided with each through-hole 34a to which each electrode 33a is inserted, a resistance layer 35, a common electrode layer 36 and a fusion preventing layer 37 to a center shaft 31. The pressure applied on a nip part A between the heating roller 30 and a pressure roller 40 and changing in accordance with a situation whether or not the paper is held in the nip part A is transformed into a DC current and detected, thereby the paper feeding state is judged.</p> |
