The invention relates to a device making it possible to print fabric pieces of 100 x 180 cm by means of a large-size engraved plate. The plate 1 is articulated on the printing table by means of hinges. A counterweight 5 makes it easier to operate it through 180 DEG between its inking and the printing. A metal frame 6 bearing around the fabric makes it possible to raise the plate, whilst keeping the fabric on the table. A heavy pressure roller 2 is rolled over the plate in the printing position. The fabric 3 is supplied under the table via a slot 4 making it possible to avoid the roller. The device according to the invention is intended especially for the plate printing of pareos. <IMAGE>
