PURPOSE: To provide a liquid supplying apparatus capable of uniformly permitting liquid to flow from a feed device having curved tubes installed side by side at a uniform interval in the width direction through a pivotable guide plate to a fabric web traveling through a trough extending in width direction and having the bottom comprising a pair of elastic pressing bodies and rapidly exchanging liquids. CONSTITUTION: A fabric web 1 is traveled through a trough 8 extending in width direction across the traveling fabric web 1 and having the bottom sealed under pressure by elastic pressing bodies 14 and 15. Nearly similar feeding apparatuses having curved tubes 22 arranged at uniform interval along a feed tube 21 are installed on both sides of the fabric web 1 and liquid is made to flow through a guide plate 34 inclined to the trough 8 side to a liquid reservoir 18 as uniform liquid film over whole width of the fabric web 1. The guide plate 34 is changeable at a inclined position and at a position of the guide plate indicated by dashed lines, the liquid is deflected into a collector 38 and does not flow to the trough 8 side. Thereby, uniform liquid introduction and rapid liquid exchange can be carried out in width direction of the trough 8.
